In the state of nature any mammal who will reach the very bottom at herd status is gonna die in the next few days or even hours. Omega is outside the pack. He is in fasted state, sick, beaten by his rivals and any moment could be attacked by a predator. In this state mammal most likely will not be able to sleep, because there is 100% he’ll be in someone stomach by the morning. Yes, all omegas die in nature, no one survive. It is too late to change something. No resources, no skills, no suport from others, just fearful helpless agression and final endorphin spurt when dying in the jaws of a lion.

Ok, for the human omega the things are little bit easier. Most likely human will get plenty to eat and there are no danger around most of the time. However your brain don’t know that.
